Elsewhere is a two bedroom, two-and-a-half bath home with a rear wall of glass doors and windows that overlook the shimmering Atlantic ocean and pink sand beach. There is a private driveway and carport as well as private beach access.
A stone terrace stretches along the back of the home and an additional sun deck with shower is available by the path to the beach. Entrance to the front of the house is through a covered porch leading to sliding glass doors, opening to a spacious great room that combines dining and living areas. The dining table is an antique wood table with seating for six. There are built-in china cabinets and multiple ceiling fans. The living room overlooks the stone terrace and offers beautiful ocean views.
There are multiple seating areas in the great room with a cable TV, a CD player, and WiFi internet access. A well-equipped kitchen with separate butler’s pantry is at the north front end of the house. A kitchen door exits to the garden area. Washer and dryer facilities are across the driveway in a wash house. The two bedroom suites are located at either end of the house. Each suite has two twin or one king-sized bed. (The two twins can easily convert to a king.)
There are ocean views from each room. The private baths feature ample closet space, a dressing room with vanity table, and a bathtub with shower. Each bedroom has its own private outdoor terrace. Air conditioners are available throughout the home if needed. Town electricity and town water can sometimes run on island time, so there is an automatic back-up generator for power, and both a well and cistern as back-up sources for water. Your vacation at Elsewhere can be as carefree as your time on the beach.
The friendly housekeeper tidies your home Monday through Friday. A caretaker is available for other household needs. The entire property is well lit and the myriad of gardens are always open for your enjoyment. Elsewhere will welcome you as your gracious Bahamian beachfront home.
