Alibi is a sprawling two bedroom, two-and-a-half bath home just steps from the shimmering blue ocean and three mile long pink sand beach. It is open and airy with multiple terraces and outdoor seating and sunning areas. Alibi has a private driveway and private beach access. An additional two bedrooms and one-and-a-half baths are available for overflow guests in the adjacent Bunkhouse, located above the detached Alibi garage.
The well-equipped kitchen is open to a den with couches and comfortable chairs. There is cable TV and WiFi internet access. The den is open to the dining area with two tables that can seat up to 12. The dining area is open to the living room with stereo, desk, and more couches and chairs. There is a half bath off of the living room. All three spaces have doors to the outside and lots of windows and skylights to welcome the fresh breezes and sunshine. Most of the furnishings are warm wood antiques and the floors are covered with a myriad of woven rugs.
The two bedrooms are accessed through outdoor covered breezeways. Each bedroom suite has two twin or one king-sized bed. (The two twins can easily convert to a king.) There is a sitting area in each suite as well as a bath with shower and separate vanity area. Each bedroom has its own private outdoor terrace.
Visitors who desire more than two bedrooms can use The Bunkhouse in conjunction with Alibi. The Bunkhouse is a separate structure above the garage, perched on a small hill across the driveway. It offers two bedrooms, two vanity areas with toilets and sinks, and a shared bath with shower. There is also an outdoor shower on the deck. The expansive deck offers beautiful views of the water and surrounding gardens. Please note that The Bunkhouse can only be reserved as a complement to Alibi.
Air conditioners are available throughout the home if needed. Town electricity and town water can sometimes run on island time, so there is an automatic back-up generator for power, and both a well and cistern as back-up sources for water. Your vacation at Alibi can be as carefree as your time on the beach.
The friendly housekeeper tidies your home Monday through Friday. A caretaker is available for other household needs. The entire property is well lit and the extensive gardens are always open for your enjoyment. Alibi will welcome you as your gracious Bahamian beachfront home.
